The medal's obverse bears head of Native American in feathered head-dress facing left.
The reverse bears two leafy stalks flanking legend: SOUVENIR / PENNY / (star) / OF / BOSTON
This is a very large and beautiful "penny" about which I know next to nothing. The "Indian Head" pennies were struck until 1909 and had a design very similar to this on their obverse. There seems to be a wide variety of these Indian Head souvenir medals that pair the beautiful bust on the obverse with different inscriptions or designs on the reverse. Any information on these medals would be appreciated.
The circular medal measures 74.5mm in diameter and appears to have been cast in a base medal and possibly silver-plated.

The medal's obverse bears figure of Levi, facing, holding the Torah, fully lit menorah to his left, Aron Kodesh to his right. At upper left, LEVI
The reverse bears Star of David, symbols and names from all twelve medals. In center, THE / TWELVE / TRIBES OF / ISRAEL
Levi was Jacob's third-born and joined his brother Simeon in the destruction of the city of Shechem. The following quote accompanies this medal in the collector's box:
"Simeon and Levi are a pair; their weapons are tools of lawlessness... I will divide them in Jacob and scatter them in Israel."
The tribe of Levi became the scholars that expounded the Torah and rendered decisions through its teachings.
This is the third medal in Elizabeth Weistrop's Twelve Tribes of Israel series. The circular medal measures 43mm in diameter and was struck in bronze and silver by the Medallic Art Company of New York. No mintages are reported.

The plaquette's obverse bears lovingly detailed, massive turbo generator before city skyline. Around cupola top, WORLD POWER CONFERENCE / 1936; across exergue, TURBO-GENERATOR-CAPACITY 160.000 K·W· 1936 / CONSOLIDATED EDISON COMPANY OF NEW YORK, INC·; signed above exergue at right, R. P. Chambellan Sc.
The reverse bears street view of Edison's first generator central station with laurel wreath at top left and tree at right. Across bottom, FIRST EDISON CENTRAL STATION - 1882 / 6 GENERATORS-TOTAL CAPACITY 1200 H·P·
The World Power Conference was conceived by the Scotsman Daniel Dunlop in 1923. He organized the first meeting which took place in London in 1924 and attracted 1,700 attendees from 40 nations. It was deemed so successful that the conference was established as a recurring event.
In the beginning, the World Power Conference convened on a regular schedule every six years. The Third World Power Conference of 1936 met from September 7th to 12th in Washington, DC. President Franklin D. Roosevelt addressed the conference on September 11th and used a golden key to activate a small generator at the Builder Dam in Colorado.
In 1968 the name was changed to World Energy Conference and the conferences were scheduled every three years. In 1992 the group changed its name again and became known as the World Energy Council.
The year of 1936 also marked the rebranding of the New York Edison Company to Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. This is probably the reason that this handsome plaquette was issued on the occasion of the conference. From the humble beginnings of the first power plant on Pearl Street in 1882, the company would eventually grow into a behemoth with approximately $13 billion in annual revenue and $47 billion in assets by 2016.
This is a beautiful Machine Age gem by Chambellan. I admit that I am partial to detailed renditions of technology, but Chambellan masterfully combined the machinery in the foreground with a city skyline and subtle sun rays in the background. The overall effect is pleasing and powerful at the same time.
The plaquette measures 114.4mm x 84.2mm and was struck in bronze by the Medallic Art Company of New York. No mintage is reported.

This was the 25th official medal issued by the American Numismatic Society.
The obverse bears nude female seated, holding a mirror but turning face away from it. To left, in four lines, 1909; to right, THE / NEW / THEATRE / OF / NEW / YORK / (ANS logo)
The reverse bears a full length female figure standing, holding a tablet from which is suspended a garland. A crtain at each side is drawn back by a nude child; two Roman lamps below. Incuse at bottom, 1909.
Edge is numbered.
This medal was issued by the American Numismatic Society (ANS) to commemorate the opening of the New Theatre in New York. The New Theatre, located at 62nd Street and Central Park West opened on November 6, 1909. It was noted for its fine architecture but due to poor acoustics and an inconvenient location it was financially unsuccessful. The theater was ultimately demolished in 1931.
Although the medal is dated 1909, it was not actually made available to members until 1916. Barbara Baxter comments that
"... the medal commemorating the opening of the New Theatre in York, with its highly decorative figural compositions and sinuous lines, perfectly captures the spirit of the Gilded Age."
The medal comes in two sizes, one measuring 77mm in diameter, the other 106mm. It was struck by the Medallic Art Company of New York. The reported mintage is 50 pieces in bronze for the larger size, at least 1 in gold, 50 in silver and 50 in bronze for the smaller size.

The obverse bears bust of Sonny Rollins, three quarters left on textured background. Around edge at left, SONNY ROLLINS; signed on truncation, DAUB
The reverse bears 1972 / (corporate logo M) / 1997 in center. Around, · TWENTY FIVE YEARS · / ON MILESTONE
Sonny Rollins was born in 1930 in New York City and started pursuing music at a young age. During his high school years at Benjamin Franklin High in East Harlem he played in a band with future jazz legends Jackie McLean, Kenny Drew, and Art Taylor. During a life-long career in jazz and blues, he has been awarded many honors, including a Grammy Award for lifetime achievement in 2004 and the National Medal of Arts in 2010. Sonny Rollins has not performed in public since 2012.
The medal celebrates not just Sonny Rollins but also Milestone Records. Milestone Records was originally founded in 1966 by Orrin Keepnews and Dick Katz. The New York company specialized on Jazz and Blues. It was acquired by Fantasy Records in 1972. The medal seems to celebrate either the acquisition anniversary or the cooperation between Sonny Rollins and Milestone Records. Orrin Keepnews produced Sonny Rollins' records for much of this period.
The medal measures 57.5mm in diameter and was struck in silver-plated bronze. The mintage is not known.
