The medal's obverse bears human body reduced to its muscular structure; incuse stick and ball model of a chemical compound behind it. At bottom, ENDO LABORATORIES, INC.

The reverse bears a view of the Endo Laboratories research facility in Garden City. Around, ENDO LABORATORIES, INC. / GARDEN CITY, NEW YORK

he history of Endo can be traced back to 1920 to a family-run pharmaceutical company originally called Intravenous Products of America, Inc. In 1935 Intravenous Products of America, Inc. changed its name to Endo Products. After being acquired by DuPont in 1970 the company was spun off in 1994 and now acts as the DuPont-Merck's generics division.

The circular medal measures 75.8mm in diameter and was struck in bronze by the Medallic Art Company of New York. No mintage is reported.

Description

The obverse bears a reproduction of the Lidov Mural in the JWT headquarters building. At top, JWT.

The reverse shows a representation of the areas in which JWT was active in 1964. Above, J. WALTER THOMPSON COMPANY; below, 1864 - 1964.

From the romance brochure that accompanied the medallion:

"The J. Walter Thompson Company began its operations in the advertising field in 1864. The world population at that time was 1,144,000,000, and advertising was not a major factor in the affairs of men.
Today, as we enter our second century, the world population is three billion, and advertising has become a potent economic force.
J. Walter Thompson moves into its future with the expression of its belief in the depth and searching restlessness of the human mind and spirit."

The Lidov Mural is permanently installed in JWT's headquarters building in New York City. It was commissioned by JWT and completed in 1964 to symbolize the communications among the four races of man.

The oval medallion measures 76.8mm x 51.5mm and was struck by the Medallic Art Company of New York. No mintage is reported.

The Salvation Army was founded in 1865 in London by one-time Methodist circuit-preacher William Booth and his wife Catherine as the East London Christian Mission. In 1878 Booth reorganised the mission, becoming its first General and introducing the military structure which has been retained to the present day. In the U.S., the Salvation Army is recognized as a church and the second largest charity, with private donations of almost $2 billion for the fiscal year ending 30 September 2007.

This medal celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Salvation Army's founding in London.

The circular medal measures 63.5mm in diameter and was struck in bronze by the Medallic Art Company of New York. No mintage is reported.

Description

Henry A. Petter (1860-1933) started his company on the banks of the Ohio River in Paducah, Kentucky. When Petter Supply started, its primary focus was on the Marine Industry. Since that time, Petter Supply has become a full line Industrial Distributor. As of 2017, the company was still family-owned and operated, with a fourth generation family member in charge.

The medal is a reprise of an earlier 1940 design that celebrated Petter Supply's 50th anniversary.

The circular medal measures 76.3mm in diameter and was struck in bronze by the Medallic Art Company of New York. No mintage is reported.

Description

This medal's obverse bears two heads facing opposite directions that intersect in the middle.

The reverse bears signature and edition: H. TOVISH 12/100

Tovish's design symbolizes the dehumanization of our modern culture with mechanical forms.

The medal was developed as part of a Christmas gift promotion for Art in America, a magazine that wanted to offer its readers something that was not available anywhere else. The promotion combined medallic objects from six leading modern sculptors and was managed by Edward Albert Bryant, the curator of modern art at New York's Whitney Museum.

The medal measures 77mm in diameter and was struck in bronze by the Medallic Art Company of New York. The mintage was 100 pieces.

Perle Reid Mesta (née Skirvin) (October 12, 1889 – March 16, 1975) was an American socialite, political hostess, and U.S. Ambassador to Luxembourg (1949–1953). Mesta was known as the "hostess with the mostest" for her lavish parties featuring the brightest stars of Washington, D.C., society, including artists, entertainers and many top-level national political figures.

The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel was developed by by Laurance S. Rockefeller and designed by Edward Charles Bassett for the firm Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. It opened on July 24th, 1965. Originally operated by Rockefeller's company RockResorts, it was sold several times. In the 2006 earthquake it sustained severe damage and had to be closed for two years.

The circular medal measures 70mm in diameter and was struck in bronze by the Medallic Art Company of New York. The mintage is not reported.
