Aitken designed this wall plaque around 1909. The plaque was very popular and was manufactured in various sizes and materials. Reproductions are still being made for Museum Stores today.
This plaque measures 146mm in diameter and is made of a white metal painted in gold. The paint coat on the obverse has mostly come off and remains only as highlights.
