This page organizes medals and information by city or town. Some cities, like New York City for example, were centers of medallic art so that some editorial pruning had to take place. Both Tiffany's and the Medallic Art Company called New York City their home and all medals issued by them could be listed here. Instead, in that case we limit the entries to medals that bear New York City subject matter.
