Some of the
series here are true series, others are reference works or collections that serve as
organizational tools to group medals together. Also check out the Glossary for thematically
grouped medals. If you have a user account you can add medals to your own Favorites collection.
Eventually you will be able to create other personal collections as well.

A well-known and catalogued collection often cited as a reference for American art medals. A great starting place to discover some of the more beautiful American art medals from the 1845 to 1945 period.
This collection includes some of my favorite medals. It is updated whenever I add new favorites to the website. In addition to granting strangers insight into my psyche, this allows you to quickly cut through some of the clutter and focus on some of the more interesting medals on the site.
"The Beaux-Arts Medal in America" by Barbara A. Baxter is one of the few books on American medallic art. It includes many European medals as well, so unless other collectors send me their images and medal data, this reference will never be complete.
